Terms & Conditions

  • This Learn with Knovo Contest (the “Contest”) is organized by Knovo.
  • By entering this contest, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any amendments thereto (the “T&Cs”).
  • Knovo reserves the right to amend the T&Cs from time to time, and modify, cancel or suspend the Contest at its sole discretion at any time. Notice of any such amendments, cancellations, or suspension will be posted on Knovo’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • This Contest is open to all Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents as the date of submission of the Instagram and Facebook post (each an “entry”).
  • Employees of Knovo, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
  • The Contest starts on 20th August 2021 will run until 3 September 12 am. All entries submitted after 3 September, 12 am would not be qualified for the contest. All entries must be Knovo’s Facebook and/or Instagram followers and entries must be tagged to #LearnWithKnovo in order to qualify.
  • By submitting an entry, the contestant (hereinafter also referred to as “You”) agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept as final and binding, the decisions of Knovo in relation to this contest.
  • The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to these terms and conditions or any other rules or specifications issued by Knovo, may, at any time and at any stage of the contest, at the sole discretion of Knovo, be disqualified from the contest.
  • To submit a valid entry for the Contest, you must follow the steps as stated in the respective giveaway. This includes:

    • Post a photo or video of your unique way of learning online and tag #LearnWithKnovo

    • Garner your kampung spirit for the most Likes and Comments on your post to win

    • Make sure your Instagram or Facebook account is set to ‘Public’.
  • You warrant that each entry submitted for the contest is original and has been created by the contestant. By submitting the entry, you further agree to be liable to Knovo for any violation of confidentiality, patent, copyright or any other intellectual property rights in the entry, and to indemnify and hold Knovo harmless from and against any actions, claims, loss or damages for infringement or alleged infringement of such confidentiality, patent, copyright or intellectual property rights and against any third party actions
  • Multiple contest entries per Instagram and Facebook account are accepted. However, each contestant is only entitled to 1 winning entry.
  • Entries submitted after the stated date and time will not be accepted.
  • Knovo reserves the right to disqualify any entry which does not comply with the T&Cs or are deemed to be of poor quality, incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible, fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate in the sole and absolute opinion of Knovo.
  • All decisions by Knovo relating to the Contest are final. Knovo is not obliged to provide reasons concerning the selection of the winning entries or entertain any appeals whatsoever.
  • Winners will be announced on Knovo’s Facebook and Instagram pages, and informed of instructions on prize collection through Facebook private message or Instagram direct message.
  • If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner, and the original winner shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation from Knovo.
  • The prize is as stated and are non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Prizes are subject to availability and Knovo reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  • Knovo makes no warranties, representations or guarantees either expressed or implied regarding any prize, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability for a particular purpose.
  • Knovo may in its sole and absolute discretion substitute, withdraw and/or cancel any prizes or make changes to the value and/or number of prizes at any time without prior notice. Knovo is not obliged to provide reasons and shall not be liable for any payment or compensation to any person due to such changes.
  • The winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Singapore data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.   • By entering the Contest, you agree that Knovo may collect, use and disclose your personal data (including but not limited to your name, Instagram or Facebook handles and profile pictures) as provided for:
    • the purposes of administering the Contest and in relation to your participation in the same,
    • promotional, marketing and publicity purposes relating to the Contest and Knovo generally,
    • Knovo’s conduct of research, analysis and development activities (including data analytics, surveys and/or profiling)
